As street-smart consumer, we should just avoid those profiteering outlets.

Let them rot!

This is my policy, my motto and my choice. Sly

It's a demand and supply issue. If there is still a long queue even though the price is so high, then this is basic economics. People are still willing to pay such a high price for the good quality food.

Sure it would scare alot of us away, but there are alot of doodies out there who won't mind paying for good food bah...

Unlike Kopitiam Square where the price is high AND the food quality is bad (or pathetic portions), that's why nobody patronize them. So sooner or later, something has got to give, because the public is not satisfied with food supply provided while the operator is not making money when nobody eats there.

Many many years ago when they are operating from the old stall, their food is good. When they started to get popular, ppl travel all over Singapore to patronise them, they start increasing price till what we are paying now. As we all know, quality generally get affected when food are mass produced.

agreed the more ppl queue for it the more they will increase the price ...
the best way to keep price low is boycott them :P teach them a lesson :P

but then sorry to say ... it is in the chinese blood... to be greedy when demand is there they will increase price... just look at the nasi lemak stall run by malays at changi village...the queue is long too but they did not increase price like pungol nasi lemak Lips Sealed
