Today we first time after so long try the roti prata (refering to the prata, not sure about the gravy; we vegetarian but their vegetarian gravy not so nice) at Buangkok Kopitiam and was very surprised that it tastes so nice.

Anyone knows around when did they change owner?

I think we last time try the roti prata (taste terrible) there is more than around 2 years back. Ever since then, had been going to NEX , Hougang Plaza to eat as other place taste much nicer.

Give it a try if you craving for prata Nod

Cheers.

I just moved in recently so can't comment on the past. I find it quite ok. Its not crispy prata which is good 'cos I hate crispy prata. This one is slightly chewy which IMO is what prata should be like.

Yes its oily but all pratas are oily lah. Have tried their cheese prata & mutton murtabak. So far so good although the murtabak portion is huge. Even big eater like me can't finish.

The curry also very nice. I think is either mutton or fish 'cos a bit sour. So far I've no luck with the thosai, everytime sold out. I think must go early in the morning. Once I tried ordering maggi goreng but don't have.

I think due to lack of manpower, if its busy he will only make prata.

I've also got a friend who also commented that it's very good. It fact she claimed it was the best prata in Singapore. Lips Sealed

However when I went to try it last week, I found it to be so so only.

Guess it all boils down to individual taste. Smile

If one likes the crispy kind, it's prob not for you. It's hilarious, we go to all the famous prata shops in Jalan kayu and Thomson, but my kids say this is the best. Hehe. I personally prefer prata house at Thomson but think it's personal preference la. A little oily but their fish curry that goes with the prata not bad
