My turn to pick a 5 rm is coming soon. Wanted a unit at AI but seems like its v popular and now thinking of getting at FR instead as there are more choice units.

Able to advise on top 2-3 units for each site?

From the latest Sept BTO for Anchorvale Harvest, the plot to the North Of Anchorvale Isles is for future hospital instead of a future school. Surprised

so glad that we both found this forum!! =)

my partner and i got a unit at AI..

got a few questions which are on our minds and need your expertise

On AI:
how much is the appreciation value for AI? our unit is a 6 floor 4-rm unit at AI...

another worry we have is the height of trees..will it reach the 6 storeys height and block the view?

Congratulations on picking your choice flat.
I guess the current transacted price you had committed must be the most accurate. Smile About its appreciation, the next best reference will be during the next SBF, if any, of any leftover AI unit/s.

Currently, 8-9 years old 4-rm flats around the vicinity sold between $415K to $460K, 5-7 years old - up to >$480K.

Right away, there's a paper profit for your 4-rm unit at AI. Smile

6th storey just clear the tree-top or in the midst of the tree crown, it depends on what type of trees are grown..........but it takes the trees 10-15 years to reach that level. Nod

Thanks for the advice! =)))))) now we are just hoping that we wont be blocked by the trees...

Another burning question we have is with regard to the location of the Sengkang General Hospital... is it true that the entire L-shaped plot will be used for the hospital?

we both saw in an earlier HDB sale of parcel land in March this year that a square piece north of AI was gazetted for the development of a schoo.. and now it doesnt seem to be so..

any insights on this?

I'm afraid it could be so........even more so with the Anchorvale Harvest's Sept BTO's launch. It was, as planned in URA Master Plan 2008, to be a school.

Well, there's always Plan B, this could be it.
