Hi,
I'd posted this matter somewhere and also emailed a few concerned applicants about it. I will put up one detailed analysis on these OCS options for BTO in the Resource Folder, hopefully by tonight. Nod

It is ready now.......... Nod

Thanks RN53 for the detailed analysis.

Actually i prefer do my own homo tiles for living + bedrooms. My only concern is budget cos besides flooring i also wan do ID reno in future. I seen some sample quotations but only state package price.

If assuming for a typical BTO 4-room 90sqm, what is the typical price range for laying homo tiles for living room + 3 bedrooms?

Thanks RN53! Very informative read I must say.
However I have one concern about the ocs. I've decided not to opt in for the flooring but can't decide for the doors.
I've wanted a solid door that can block off the noise from the living room and I don't know the quality of the door from Hdb. Cost versus quality.
Any advice?

You are most welcomed!
Regarding SOLID WOOD DOOR/s, pls be very cautious. There are many different types of wooden doors in the market. The emphasis here is SOLID WOOD. There are many claims about solid wooden door when many doors are actually engineered solid doors of various makes and design.

Solid wood doors are very heavy, it can be twice or trice heavier than the typical wooden door that are available and solid wood doors are expensive. Take your time to visit some door manufacturers/suppliers, near where you live, for more detailed understanding and maybe patronise one of them. http://directory.st701.com/singapore-...+Manufacturers/c/

I have no idea about the quality, design/made of HDB standard OCS doors. You can try to find out more from HDB. Smile

Hi All,

Need your opinion here. I see that unit #535/#533 is quite popular. But do you think the view will be blocked by the MSCP, esp should I choose lower floors? And would it be too far from public transport? Thank you!

Stacks #535/533 are popular for its better attributes, but of course, not for those units lower than the MSCP - view will be blocked.
It would be about 350m to the LRT station/s and less than 200m to bus-stops.
